Gemma has been instrumental in helping our daughter settle into a challenging school environment. She worked through very specific exercises with her that helped her with self esteem, social adjustment and executive functioning. She is very methodical and detailed in her approach, always updating parents along the way to ensure we’re on the same page and supporting at home in a similar way. Would highly recommend Gemma’s services to anyone who’s kids are having a hard time, for whatever reason, and who could benefit from a mentor who has a SENDS approach for added bonus.

Compass Learning is a specialist education and wellbeing service supporting school age children and young people, with particular expertise in neurodivergent learners and complex Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Social & Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. At Compass Learning, every child’s learning journey is different and each direction leads to new possibilities. We guide children, families, and schools through journeys of Nurture, Enrich, Sanctuary, and Wellbeing.

Â
Nurture – creating safe, trusting relationships that help children feel valued and supported.

Enrich – offering meaningful learning and personal development opportunities that build skills for life.

Sanctuary – recognising sensory and emotional needs, providing calm spaces and tools to regulate.

Wellbeing – prioritising mental health, confidence, community and a sense of belonging for both children and families.
